Alden Court is known for its activities program, which, unlike other facilities, offers programs seven days a week. We value our families and create many opportunities for them to visit; including a steady stream of local performers and special events. We also offer a therapeutic art program two times per week, a weekly Portuguese program for our extensive Portuguese speaking population and a hairdresser service, four days a week for our residents' beauty needs.
Skilled Nursing Care around the clock helps residents avoid hospitalizations, and a full calendar of activities, both inside our facility and out, add to our residents "quality of life". We create “neighborhoods” with various sitting rooms to visit with family, and our media room with theater seating, salon and library provide many choices and areas for our residents to spend quality time. Our goal is to provide a continuum of programs that our residents might have done at home prior to admission. We follow a "patient centered" process that gears programs on meeting individual needs with the goal of keeping residents busy and engaged.

Rather than seeking a cure, hospice care aims to make their remaining time with us as comfortable and as meaningful as possible. This may mean pain relief and nursing care, but also includes emotional support and help with everyday tasks.
